1st Friday Art Walk in Healdsburg!

Anthony Ponter, curator of Spirits In Stone galleries, will be speaking at the debut of the 1st Friday events at our Healdsburg location on May 2nd. He will be sharing his expertise of over 27 years on the spiritual culture of the Shona People and their sculptural expressions of modern society and African culture. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Anthony will address the conditions and issues the Shona people live with during these turbulent times.

In the adversities and challenges the Shonas face, it is their traditional upbringing of unity and spirituality that binds them together and keeps their spiritual core from fragmenting.

Join us for an enlightening talk with the curator as you learn to understand the meaning and struggles behind these evocative works of art.
