Spirits in Stone Opens New Sculpture Garden & Gallery at Everett Ridge Winery
The historic Everett Ridge Winery, situated in the stunning Dry Creek
valley in Sonoma was one of California's first, being built in 1887.
It was a showplace of its day with two foot thick walls of stone
trimmed in brick and plantings of fruit trees, walnuts and vineyards
of Cabernet Sauvignon. It also boasted a wonderful barn built in 1887
of hand hewn beams and clear cut timbers, a replica of which stands
today after a historic renovation in the late nineties.
Esterlina Vineyards and Winery, LLC, an award-winning, family-owned
winery based in Philo , California (and long time friends and
collectors of SIS) recently acquired Everett Ridge Winery of
Healdsburg, California.
This will enable Esterlina to consolidate its wine production, and
will give it a second tasting room, and a second label, as it will
continue to market Everett Ridge branded wines.
Upon acquisition of the historic winery, Esterlina asked Spirits In
Stone to establish an outdoor sculpture garden in the beautiful
grounds overlooking Dry Creek Valley, and an indoor gallery featuring
Masks, paintings and smaller sculptural works in the spacious and
dramatic tasting room. In addition, Spirits In Stone, in cooperation
with Everett Ridge, will be producing an ongoing series of art and
cultural events at the winery.
The winery and sculpture garden is located just 5 minutes from
bustling and popular downtown Healdsburg. The winery at 435 West Dry
Creek Road, is open daily from 10:00AM to 4:30PM
