Making Quite a Splash

through July 31st.
$100 Gift Certificate
for every qualifying $1500 jewelry purchase

For centuries, the origin of pearls remained as one of nature's most sought after secrets. In ancient cultures they were believed to be gifts of the gods, to have magical powers, to heal the sick and bless the healthy. To this day, in tribute to Venus, pearls are revered as a symbol of love, beauty and seduction. Wrapped in mystery and fascination, with a luminous bewitching glow, pearls exude femininity and calm but also power, individuality and prestige. No other gem in the world is as perfect as pearls, nor created by a living organism.

Through the month of June come experience the incredible looks and bewitching glow of South Sea pearls, come see for yourself why these pearls are called the queen of the seas.

Wosene Painting
Word Play
Wosene Worke Kosrof

"For me, the Amharic script, like jazz musical notation, provides a repertoire of dense, yet supple, elements that I abstract in my paintings. The script-images become shapes that I manipulate, modify, and improvise with color and texture. Painting to jazz also influences my sense of composition: I juxtapose the language symbols and let them flow in non-verbal 'word-plays' that create a visual harmony of rhythm, counterpoint, and movement." - Wosene, 2008
