HEALDSBURG, CA , JULY 26, 2005 ? Sarah Graham will make a unique appearance August 12-14 at the Spirits In Stone Gallery located just North of the Square in Healdsburg. In four years Sarah Graham Metalsmithing has gone from start-up to being available in over 100 fine jewelry stores in North America and Asia. Celebrities such as Sharon Stone and Kim Basinger own her jewelry.

Sarah Graham creates jewelry that is unlike anything you?ve ever seen. Her jewelry pushes the boundaries of convention through her use of the arresting contrasts inherent in the juxtaposition of 18 karat gold and blackened steel; of black, white, and cognac diamonds; of Akoya and Tahitian pearls. The inspiration for her originality of design and materials is grounded in Nature as confirmed by the labeling of her major product lines: Manzanita, Pebbles, Oyster, Conifer and her line of bridal rings - Kyoto, Bamboo, Leaf, and River Rock.

Sarah studied jewelry of the world in museums, galleries, and stores in North, Central, and South America, Europe, Africa and India. She perfected her old-world craftsmanship by serving as an apprentice under a master goldsmith in Carmel, California. She then became a bench jeweler for 6 years until she launched Sara Graham Metalsmithing in 2000. In 2001, she received the Rising Star Award at the JCK Show in Las Vegas and in 2003 was runner-up for the Mort Abelson New Jewelry Designer of the Year Award.

Sarah Graham has a long association with Spirits In Stone Galleries, which carry an extensive selection of her wearable works of art.
